Now that the 2019/20 Championship fixtures are out, there will be thousands of diehard football fans who follow their team all over the country planning for the new season ahead.

So we have taken a look at how far fans of every second tier club must travel according to TheStatsZone and ranked from least to most distance travelled.

24) BIRMINGHAM

Birmingham City supporters will have to travel a total of 2,351 miles to watch their team away from home.

The average amount of miles they will have to travel in the 2019/20 season is 102.2.

 

23) DERBY

Derby County supporters will have to travel a total of 2,359 miles to watch their team away from home.

The average amount of miles they will have to travel in the 2019/20 season is 102.6.

 

22) NOTT’M FOREST

Nottingham Forest supporters will have to travel a total of 2,379 miles to watch their team away from home.

The average amount of miles they will have to travel in the 2019/20 season is 103.4.

 

21) WEST BROM

West Bromwich Albion supporters will have to travel a total of 2,424 miles to watch their team away from home.

The average amount of miles they will have to travel in the 2019/20 season is 105.4.
