The Premier League fixture Everton v Man City and many non league fixtures have been called off just hours before kick off.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side were set to take on the Pep Guardiola’s squad on Monday night with an 8pm kick off, however sources say that has been postponed after five positive Covid tests at the Premier League outfit.
They had already confirmed on Christmas Day that Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus had tested positive, so with the number rising, it’s best not to play out the fixture.

A club statement read: "Manchester City FC can confirm that this evening’s Premier League fixture at Everton has been postponed.
"After the latest round of Covid-19 testing, the club returned a number of positive cases, in addition to the four already reported on Christmas Day.
"With the security of the bubble compromised, there posed a risk that the virus could spread further amongst the squad, the staff and potentially beyond.
"Based on strong medical advice the Premier League, in consultation with both clubs, have decided to postpone the fixture.
"All positive cases involving players and staff will observe a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine. The first team training ground at City Football Academy will close for an indeterminate period, with the squad and associated bubble undergoing testing before any decision is made for training to resume.
"Everyone at the Club wishes all of our colleagues a speedy recovery ahead of their return to work, training and competition."
Meanwhile snowfall and Covid-19 causes many non league matches to be postponed up and down the country on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon.
Just like on Boxing Day, fixtures have unfortunately been called off with teams having players testing positive for coronavirus, however that isn't the only reason why games have been called off.
Non league clubs have multiple matches postponed due to the weather, with regions enduring heavy rain, gusty winds, and now snow over the festive period which is a blow to all associated with the sides.
