Usually this time of year, it’s the weather causing havoc to many a team’s fixture schedule, however it’s got worse with the coronavirus pandemic affecting footballers and staff.
On Friday, it was confirmed by Notts County and Yeovil Town that they National League fixture has been postponed after a Glovers player contracted the virus.
Notts County wrote in a statement on their site: “Saturday’s Vanarama National League trip to Yeovil Town has been postponed after one of their players tested positive for Covid-19.
“As the player in question was part of Yeovil’s traveling party to Bromley in midweek, their squad and staff who made the trip must now self-isolate in accordance with National League protocols.
“A rearranged date is yet to be confirmed.
“Yeovil have informed us that all supporters who purchased a streaming pass for the match will be refunded today. Please allow up to five working days for the money to return to your account.”

Yeovil Town wrote: "Following a comprehensive testing programme, Yeovil Town have returned a positive test of COVID-19.
"In line with government guidelines, Yeovil Town’s fixture with Notts County will now be postponed with the club entering a period of self-isolation.
"Yeovil Town will issue an update on a rearranged date and ticketing details in due course. Streaming refunds are currently being processed but may take a few working days to appear in your bank account.
"The club would like to wish the individual a speedy recovery."
As of Saturday morning, it's now been confirmed that a second National League match is called off with another played affected.
Sutton United stated on the website: "After a member of the Sutton United party scheduled to travel to Stockport developed flu-like symptoms overnight, this afternoon’s Vanarama National League game at Edgeley Park has been postponed as a precaution on the advice of the National League Medical Officer.
"The game will now be rearranged for a later date in line with league procedures.
"Stockport have advised that anyone who has purchased a pass for the live stream coverage of the game will have their money automatically refunded on Monday."

Stockport County tweeted: "Due to a member of Sutton's travelling party developing flu-like symptoms overnight, today's National League game has been POSTPONED on the advice of the National League MO.
"Anyone who has purchased a streaming pass for this game will receive a full refund."
