After news came out recently that Hashtag United were given a place in the English football pyramid, the club have announced that they are appealing after being placed in the Spartan South Midlands Football League Division One.
They have also confirmed that they would be moving from their current home at White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre.
In a video posted by Hashtag United on YouTube, it was confirmed that they would be playing their football at Haringey Borough’s ground as of August – with ticket and season ticket prices announced soon.
The club have pinned a comment to the top of the comment section of the video and it read: “Hashtag United’s Chapter 2 is here! What do you think? Ask your questions here and Spencer will answer as many as possible this week in an AMA! IMPORTANT: We filmed this before our league was announced by the FA on Friday, and what they announced is not the league we were expecting. We’ve appealed, so as far as we’re concerned it is not confirmed yet but we’ll tell you more as soon as we can.”
As the news first came out of Hashtag United getting a place in the non league pyramid, it caused a divide with the football world.
