Gloucester and Kidderminster have been criticised by fans as footage emerges showing trouble flaring up at the National League North fixture.
The game itself saw an injury time equaliser enough to see Gloucester City take a share of the spoils, after holding Kidderminster to a 1-1 draw at the Tiger Turf Stadium (aka New Meadow Park).
Shane Byrne had put the visitors ahead on 8 minutes, but in truth the game played out rather poorly and made tougher with the weather conditions, before Gloucester improved come second half and ultimately forced an equaliser in the 94th minute.
Tope Obadeyi was credited with the goal by the club, however some think it had gone in of a Kidderminster player, nonetheless proving to be a much needed point to keep the hosts’ playoff ambitions.
Supporters who went to the game had plenty to say after what happened outside the ground, with a group seen trying to start a fight, some punches thrown and barriers being chucked at one another, as can be seen in a viral clip below.
But it is also the handling of it all, segregation, management, control on matchday itself, judging by what fans had to say.

This is what social media users said with Gloucester and Kidderminster criticised as footage emerges showing trouble flaring up…
@char__barnett: Interesting to see what @khfcofficial and @TheVanaramaNL have to say about their fans behaviour today. Is waiting outside the ground to attack a group of Gloucester fans with elderly and young children just something that club does every week? Appalling from @khfcofficial
@daveglos25: Was also shockingly organised by @GCAFCofficial, segregation in place but just letting their fans walk into the city section and bar area. Seriously needs improving
@char__barnett: If this is true that’s not good at all. I noticed they were giving it large outside the High Orchard before the game, definitely feel there should have been more security outside at the end. If the game needs segregation, it should also need police to come down
@TheVOTTE: Also didn’t help that the stands on the ticket site were incorrectly labelled for home and away and despite being told numerous times, was never amended.
@SevernSport: The barriers in front of the 1883 stand were unmanned & I noticed a number of away fans were just allowed to open the gate and walk into the main bar, making the “segregation” redundant. A very poorly run matchday from what I saw today. Hellenic League matches are more organised
@Gooner_Richard: Absolute scumbags. Been watching too many hooligan movies.
@char__barnett: 99% of the time it’s always these scrawny teenagers desperate to ‘look hard’ in front of their mates. Kids like that will one day mess with the wrong person and get what’s coming to them
@TheVOTTE: Looking at the state of some of them Kiddy fans it looked like they bit off more than they could chew. Load of em covered in mud and blood at the top of Sudmeadow
@char__barnett: My old man was watching from his car in the trading estate. From what he said it seems City at least won off the pitch
@Gooner_Richard: I nearly got chucked out when we played Leamington at home. I got in quite late and stood in the T-End, not realising that they’d swapped it to the old T-End for the day. It was belting down with rain, so I decided to wait for it to ease before walking down the other end. I was chatting with some of the older Leamington fans, and it was good natured. There were a group of Stone Island teens larking about, talking nonsense, but not really doing much harm. Then a group of much younger City fans walked along in front of them, on their way to the scoreboard side. The teens started shouting obscenities at them, and one shouted, “oh, I’m scared, don’t stab me”. I could see the youngsters were a bit bothered by this, and I just asked the teens to calm it and leave the kids alone. They then turned on me, giving me all sorts of abuse, and I decided to stand up to them. I walked nearer to them, and told them if they wanted to pick on someone, what about trying me? With that, a steward came over and asked me to go down the other end. I told it I would when it stopping raining, but then we scored, and of course I celebrated (nothing OTT, just in the usual way). The steward came over again, and this time he told me to move. I told him what had happened, and he wasn’t interested, so I asked if it was a segregated match, and he told me it wasn’t. Then he asked me to leave, and I refused and told him I hadn’t done anything other than stand up for some young fans. The head steward wanted to speak to me, so I went to him near the players’ entrance, and told him I wasn’t leaving, but I would go down the other end just to keep the peace. He agreed, and that’s what I did, but that all happened because of some pathetic wannabe hooligans who think that wearing a Stone Island jumper and a pair of adidas Gazelle gives them the right to abuse and intimidate people.
@char__barnett: It’s not good. Everyone wants to act and look hard until someone bigger comes along. I’ve heard some clubs in the UK are considering implementing age limits for away fans
@bircherkeith2: Imagine getting to the turnstile at @GCAFCofficial today and being told I can’t come in as I haven’t paid my 2nd installment on my s ticket. Thank god I’ve got bank statements on my banking app to prove I made the payments. Admin at the club is a joke. Roll on next season. 🤯
@shauntippins: Pathetic…. As soon as we walked down the ramp ourselves it was like FFS really…. This and Hereford will just have be brought in and out by coach and kept behind after games for our fans to leave! Wouldn’t get this on a Tuesday night as most would have school in the morning!
@MatthewHailes: Disgraceful. Should be ashamed of themselves. They don’t represent Kidderminster Harriers. They have been banned from home matches. Normally a couple of police from Kiddy are in attendance. Amazed they were not there yesterday
