Fans take the mick out of ‘intimidating’ ‘training camp’ Reading Ultras tweets

Since Sunday, supporters of other clubs have been taking the mickey out of a tweet that was posted by what appears to be an Reading ultras account on Twitter.

In their profile description, @Y26Ultras, which seems to be a new Twitter account, claim they’re the “hardest bastards in the land”.

One tweet in particular, which has received plenty of reaction, read “We run the Madejski. We intimidate the fuck out of away fans. We’re all hard as fuck. Noise like no other home end in the league. We’re Y26.”

They then took to aim their tweets at mocking Millwall supporters, who come face to face when they meet tomorrow.

The Reading Ultras account tweeted, “Millwall fans are just pussies hiding behind their little fake stone island badges. Let’s see Saturday if they can handle a few punches off of some real men. Their mob will run off after they see a few right hooks landed by the Y26 ultras mark my words. Soft Bastards. #MillwallFC”.

The Y26 Ultras kept on tweeting about how many ‘fatalities’ there would be on Saturday.

They also state how they would keep quiet until the final whistle but would run round outside the away end and that they would have them.

Their most recent tweets sees the account talk about a training camp to help them prepared for when they face Millwall fans and even tweeted their own players for ‘donations’ to keep the the fight club/training camp going. Yes, really.

Football fans on social media replied to a series of the tweets with how embarrassing they were along with plenty of GIFs – check out what they’re saying on the next page.
