York City have been slammed this week after they revealed their ticket prices for the 2019/20 season to their supporters.
The National League North side’s season ticket will operate between leaving Bootham Crescent and moving to the newly built York Community Stadium.

York Press write: “Adult early bird season ticket prices in the David Longhurst Stand are up to £235 from the last two seasons’ £199, while adults in the Main Stand will be paying £330, up from £275.
“The biggest increase, by some way, comes after the early bird deadline. In the Family Stand, the cost of adult with an under-12 rockets from £275 to £370 – though the cost of an additional adult remains the same at £250.”
Truly shocking that, even more so when you compare a list of all the other teams at that level and their season ticket prices…

A statement read: “York City have been working closely with our ticketing partner to streamline the move from Bootham Crescent to the Community Stadium and are pleased to announce a single season ticket solution.
“The single season ticket will provide dedicated York City supporters the first opportunity to select their seats in the respective stand at the Community Stadium via the new ticketing platform, whilst also retaining their chosen seat at Bootham Crescent for the final fixtures at our historic home.”
