After consistent wet weather the last few months that have caused havoc with football fixtures on a weekly basis, we’re starting to get a hint of that much needed sunshine, and it’s very good news for groundsmen and football pitches.
At the beginning of the week, we saw plenty of photos of flooded football grounds, with many clubs complaining not just about the weather but to the FA. Now, it’s all change thanks to 24 hours of spring-like warmth.

Many leagues this week have requested a league extension due to so many postponements, this includes Total Motion Midland League, Macron Store Southern Combination League, Ebac Northern League, North West Counties League.
