Fan accused of allegedly being racist after being filmed in gone viral video after FA Vase game

A fan has been accused of allegedly being racist after being filmed in the gone viral video after an FA Vase semi final game on Saturday.

Trouble broke out after the first leg clash between Worcester City and Great Wakering Rovers, as we reported with more videos of it doing the rounds online.

But now a new clip has surfaced, and posted by @SebDouglas who said: “Anyone know who this low life @GWRovers fan is? Thrown racial slurs at me and made monkey gestures yesterday. Disgraceful.”

It’s so far gone one to get nearly a million viewing within 15 hours of being posted, 400 retweets and comments, in the hope of finding the culprit.

Worcester player Jamie Insall wrote: “Football is a place to enjoy yourself… to go to a game and get racially abuse is disgusting. It has put a Shadow on what a good day was yesterday.”

@Raven1615916, who claims to be the accused fan in the video, tweeted: “Can you message me privately seb, thanks.

“…it is me in the video thats why I’ve come to comment on it.”

“…I don’t have twitter and I’ve been told about this post why is there no sound on the post and why is it being blown out of context stop trying to ruin someone else’s life for your own gain 👍”

“seb please contact your local station please as I’m on it now for the slander you’re putting on social media. It is me in the video thats why I’ve come to comment on it.”

“To reassure you it wasn’t a racist remark we were arguing and I was offering you out for a fight which was stupid I was drunk and wasn’t thinking, please could you remove this post as it’s deemed as slander trying to destroy someone’s reputation over a shitty football row thanks”

“I’ve reported this to west mersia police and they said they will like to speak to you, if you can private message me then I will give you the crime reference number”
