Every League Two club ranked by visiting fans for best atmosphere

Visiting football fans have rated (by stars) the atmosphere at League Two grounds on the website footballgroundmap.com.

We have taken a look at and ranked all of the League Two teams’ average stars from poorest to best atmosphere.

Take a look at the countdown below:

24) MK DONS

A post shared by Chris (@chris1white) on

The number of visits by the users (of footballgroundmap.com) to Stadium MK is 21,005, and the average rating is 1 and a half stars out of 5.

Milton Keynes Dons on of the sides who lost their place in League One after finishing 23rd. With such a bigger stadium and not so many fans to go with it, it’s easy to see why they are bottom of this countdown for atmosphere.

23) STEVENAGE

The number of visits by the users (of footballgroundmap.com) to the Broadhall Way is 16,840, and the average rating is 2 stars out of 5.

Stevenage finished in the bottom half of the League Two table. With one of the lowest home attendances like a few others in this league, you can understand why their atmosphere isn’t highly rated.

22) PORT VALE

A post shared by Jack Mulhall (@jackmulhall92) on

The number of visits by the users (of footballgroundmap.com) to Vale Park is 35,691, and the average rating is 2 and a half stars out of 5.

Port Vale had a disappointing season finishing 20th. They had the 10th best home attendance but fans are not keen on away days Vale Park it seems.

21) MACCLESFIELD TOWN

A post shared by Dennis (@dennis_matth) on

The number of visits by the users (of footballgroundmap.com) to Moss Rose is 23,175, and the average rating is 2 and a half stars out of 5.

One of two teams to have won promotion back to the Football League after finishing champions last season. They are a relatively small club with not lots of money to spend on the ground so it’s understandable for the low star rating.
