Every 18/19 Championship club ranked by visiting fans for best atmosphere

20) BLACKBURN ROVERS – 3 stars

A post shared by Dom King (@dom__king) on

The number of visits by the users (of footballgroundmap.com) to Ewood Park is 51,653, and the average rating is 3 stars out of 5.

Another one of the League One teams to have won promotion. The crowd will surely pick up in the 2018/19 season which might just boost that star rating.

19) PRESTON NORTH END – 3 stars

The number of visits by the users (of footballgroundmap.com) to Deepdale is 43,401, and the average rating is 3 stars out of 5.

Preston North End had a positive season, just missing out on a playoff place.

18) HULL CITY – 3 stars

A post shared by CP? (@chrispalmer1982) on

The number of visits by the users (of footballgroundmap.com) to the KCOM Stadium is 31,205, and the average rating is 3 stars out of 5.

Hull City finishing the season in a disappointing 18th, the same position for this countdown.

We imagine the rating would be much higher if this was a rating for rugby matches and of course, the club had a better season.

17) ROTHERHAM UNITED – 3 stars

A post shared by Thomas Hunt (@thomashunt) on

The number of visits by the users (of footballgroundmap.com) to the New York Stadium is 7,503 (most likely because it’s a new ground), and the average rating is 3 stars out of 5.

The club won promotion from League One after beating Shrewsbury in the playoff final. Rotherham made an incredible rise up the table, they spent the first half of the season rather low in the bottom half.
