Gillingham chairman has made a stunning gesture to his fans after they have a nightmare evening on Tuesday.
Gills supporters watched their side get beaten 3-1 by then bottom of the table Plymouth Argyle, but that wasn’t the only thing to get them frustrated.
They had already 255 miles to get to Home Park and as they were ready for the long 5 hour journey back home, they had found out a broken fan belt on their coach meant they didn’t leave the ground until 11:30am, around two hours after the game had ended.

“Everyone at the club was shocked and embarrassed by the performance last night and no-one should have to pay to watch that.
The supporters ended up getting back in Gillingham at nearly half 5 in the morning the following day.
“As a token of our appreciation, we are offering two free adult tickets to all 254 people that made the journey on Tuesday evening, which can be used for any of the next five league fixtures at Priestfield.”
