Bromley fan attempts to push steward away while getting escorted out at Solihull

A Bromley fan attempts to push a big built steward away while getting escorted out at Solihull Moors with the video going viral.

Moors slipped up on National League leaders Chesterfield after picking up a 1-1 draw at home to Bromley on Saturday afternoon.

It was Bromley who went ahead with Kido Taylor-Hart finding Ben Krauhaus to smash home in the 47th minute, only for Kade Craig to get Solihull an equaliser 11 minutes later, putting the ball into the bottom-left corner.

It now leaves second place Solihull with 23 points from 11 games, and five points behind Chesterfield, who won 3-2 against Wealdstone. Bromley sit fifth with 19 points from 11 matches.

Bromley boss Andy Woodman said post-match: “I thought there was two teams that didn’t want to give anything away to be honest there was a lot of goal mouth action, it was quite cagey and look we had a few problems coming into the game uh Michael Cheeks wife’s gone into labour so that’s changed the sort of our zap a little bit, but good chance for the boys to come in and sort of stake their claim

“The boys come in did well they’re an organised team and they’re at the top for a reason you know they don’t give a lot away and they didn’t give us a lot today to be honest but we’ve got two home games now we’ve got to make sure we really sort of make use of those.

“I thought it was a good solid team performance and it keeps us unbeaten in nine I think that is and I think that’s nothing to be sniffed at.

“I encouraged the leads first half to uh you know break early doors when we get possession of the ball you know, make sure that we’re on the front foot and making forward passes a little bit more and Lewis Leigh come on he done that key though didn’t turn them and and over these legs a little bit and slid Ben in and it was a it was a great finish.

“Just a shame we couldn’t hang on I was going to say the goal did spark the game into life didn’t it yeah I mean they’re at home they’re gonna have moments and they brought a big fella on Beck who causes problems and then we just got sort of overrun down the wide area cut back could finish you know sometimes you’ve got to hold your hands up and just say look you know you’ve got to give the other team a bit of credit and in that instance you know that was a good finish by then I wasn’t too disappointed about performance today we’ve had a lot you know a lot go on we’re in the back of five wins on the spin and we’re still unbeaten that’s a good place to come and get a point today.”

Solihull boss Andy Whing said: “Frustrating day really I don’t think we were quite at our best, but I think the biggest compliment that would give ourselves or is the way they turned up in terms of didn’t really look to go and win the game.

“I thought they just sort of sat in and you know hoped for a counter attack goal, they scored their goal from the first shots or attack really, but it’s so hard to break down they kind of slow the game down and we just we’re a little bit frustrated a little bit off it today, we kept huffing and puffing.

“I thought the large are brilliant to keep going and going you know tried to sort of move them around but they you know they get they get you know 11 banking really and it was just tough to break them down, and you know unfortunately we couldn’t find a winner.

“But I think we’ve all played in getting those games where you could get a sucker punch and lose a game and you know we’ll take a point and move on.”
