It was absolute chaos in the Sheffield United end after a 98th minute come from behind winner at Bristol City for Harrison Burrows.
The match concluded dramatically with Ryan One levelling with just four minutes remaining in regular time, before Bristol City faced a setback with Rob Dickie receiving a red card, and shortly after, the visitors scored the decisive goal with mere seconds left on the clock.
Burrows’ sent his powerful left-footed shot past Max O’Leary, to earned all three points, placing the Blades 2nd, above Leeds and just behind Sunderland in the Championship table.
Bristol City initially took the lead in the 75th minute with a spot kick, awarded after Michael Cooper fouled Sinclair Armstrong, which Anis Mehmeti successfully converted from the penalty.

Blades manager Chris Wilder speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield:
“To get a result is fantastic and when you get those moments in a game, in a season or in a career they are a little bit special.
“I didn’t think it was a smash and grab. I thought it was a tight game against good opposition and one where we needed to raise our levels at half-time.
“We had been wanting to get Ryan One on the pitch and he took that opportunity. Why it took the last 20 minutes for us to play with more drive and intensity I don’t know but you have to give the players an enormous amount of credit.
“The lads were incredibly brave, we flooded it and really went for the winner and we got a memorable winner and memorable scenes for the supporters who have travelled a long way down here.”
Wilder, per Sky Sports:
“I didn’t think it was a smash-and-grab. It was a tight game against good opposition. After going one behind, we began to show all our character and we started to play in those last 20 minutes. Why it has taken that for us to play quickly with more drive, more intensity and more quality is beyond me.
“The players deserve an enormous amount of credit. It’s got nothing to do with myself or the coaching staff. They put themselves in a hole with their decision-making and attention to detail and they got themselves out of it.
“I was a definite penalty and it might have been a case of poking the bear a little bit to get us going. But I thought the players were extremely brave and we were rewarded with a memorable winner and memorable scenes for the supporters.”

Bristol City manager Liam Manning speaking to BBC Radio Bristol:
“You have to come away with something but there were so many good aspects to the performance you can’t really knock the lads’ attitude, work rate or desire to compete.
“When you are ahead it is how do you manage those high-pressure situations and that is the bit we didn’t do.
“It feels like we lost it rather than they won it. But you have to stay calm and composed to see out the game. The last couple of minutes is what cost us.
“The lads are gutted and rightly so, but we have to move on. We are on a really good run and we have shown against a strong side tonight that we can compete with anybody again.
“We have to bounce back and go again Saturday.”
Manning, per Sky Sports:
“Until they scored it had been an excellent performance and one thing I can’t question is the attitude and commitment of the lads.
“We didn’t manage the game well enough in the closing stages. We have spoken in the dressing room about coping with the pressures that come with being successful and it’s something we need to work on.
“I felt we lost the game, rather than them winning it. I haven’t seen the red card incident again, but there are no complaints. Obviously it had an effect on conceding the winning goal because we were a defender light.”
🗣️ “You’ve seen a team that has gone right to the end”
